Private Tutoring
(free for children & adults)
1:1 or 1:2 sessions for children or adults to help with school or Portuguese homework.
Formats available:
In person: All lessons at Lisbon Project
Rua Carvalho Araújo 66B, Lisbon
Online: All lessons via Zoom
Flexible: A combination of the above
Schedule: Schedule and frequency will be defined with the tutor.
Signup: All tutors are fully booked at the moment. However, you may still join our waiting list below.
Please include your Whatsapp number (including country code), as successful applicants will be contacted to discuss the next steps.
Submitting a request is no guarantee that we will be able to provide a tutor, but we will do our best. Demand for this kind of support is high and we have few tutors available. Given the nature of our association, we hope you understand that we will prioritize the most vulnerable.
If we find a tutor that matches the profile of the tutee, we will contact the applicant or applicant’s family to agree on a day and time for the tutor and the tutee to meet in person at Lisbon Project. After agreeing on the terms of the support that will be offered, a WhatsApp group will be created for communication and the tutoring sessions may start.

Online resources: MESTRE PANDA
Mestre Panda provides students (from 7th to 12th grades) with exercises and tools to study autonomously. They have over 5k exercises for the following subjects (and hope to add new ones in the future):
Through the website, students can practice exercises with step-by-step explanations, earn points for right answers and see statistics on their learning. They are currently working on a new version to be launched in September / October, which will include more materials like videos. We thought it could be interesting for our community members attending high school.
